Hey, Im Anita, a Mass Communication student. I'm in batch 3/April intake and is going through my second semester now. Here, I will give you a taste of my college life in MDIS Malaysia.

Currently studying in MDIS Unicampus, I started to feel that studying is a fun process. School and classes always seem dull and boring. I dread to go to school, sitting in class and writing down things till my hand hurts. But here, the classes seem to be more interesting  and fun. The information they give are simple to understand and is filled with dense information important for our course. Learning here, we don't only learn about the subjects but also how to get around in life. We were guided through each semester brilliantly and manage to understand lots of things. We also have lots of activities which allows us to study out of the four walls. For example, we have Community Service in my second semester.

We also had a chance to celebrate Merdeka day with less fortunate people in a Spastic centre.

Work in progress for no smoking ad for business skill assignment.

From the 1st day I come the collage was very fun at the class we introduce ourselves and we know each other. In the class, there are many type of people from noisiest to the most quietest.

The lecture in MDISM are very responsible and caring towards the student,They willing to guide us in any circumstances and help to overcome each and every students problem. One of the lecture Mr.Alvin was my leadership and critical thinking lecture,he manage the to teach two subject in one semester and handle his job impressively.

MDIS is a great and well known college in Singapore. The Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) was founded in early 1956. In fact, MDIS do provides well-accredited courses, seminars and management services and opportunities for individuals to develop professionally through academic programmes that it offers. The campus in Iskandar, Malaysia will open its doors to students around 2015. In short, MDIS Malaysia will be equipped with infrastructure that promotes a conducive and holistic environment to live and learn. The courses that offered by MDIS are fully developed by its own internal academic term in collaboration with its existing university partners. It makes feel excited and looking forward to see and further my studies in the new campus in Nusajaya.

The main purpose I chose to study in MDIS is because it is the only college in Johor Bahru that offers this Diploma in Mass Communication. As noted, I chose to take up mass communication because it is a course that opens many doors to different types of opportunities. I believe that, this course also helps in building a personality and most importantly helps to overcome shyness. I want to overcome my shyness because I have lost great opportunities just because of that reason. I definitely want to feel more comfortable in speaking and socializing with people. It is my belief that, as a mass communication student, there will be a big improvement in me and I will definitely be more creative and outstanding in future. There is no doubt that the career that I will do in my future will be exciting and I will be enjoying doing it. It might be very challenging and the only way I can build myself up as a person is through taking challenges in a positive way.

Currently MDIS Malaysia campus temporarily operates from a strategically building located in Johor Bahru City Square. It is a shopping center and office building located in the Central Business district of Johor Bahru. As a result of the campus situated currently might cause inconvenience and be the biggest challenge. To those students who drive in to college will need to park their car, but the parking fees here are too expensive. It is not hard to overcome the challenges but it may take some time to make things better. Being socialize and creating a friendly studying environment is a very important task. I seriously believe that I have overcome it and now all of us are like one happy family consists of different races of students. Equally important, the lectures here in MDIS are very responsible and caring. They are ready to help and guide us in any situation.
